Whakatōpū - amalgamate, combine, consolidate

210.00

This simple taonga combines some Kahurangi Pounamu, copper, bone and Pāua. It is named Whakatōpū meaning to assemble (in a group), amalgamate, combine, consolidate. It speaks of gathering together all the causes and conditions we need to attain genuine happiness.

The Pāua symbolises our innermost nature of our heart which is perfect and pure. Within this is held all of our positive wishes, potentials and great wisdom.

The markings on the bottom represent the air. The breath of life. The copper in between the bone and Pounamu represents element of fire and the conducting of great power. The Pauā also symbolises water and the ability to be flexible and flow and nourish. The stone represents the element of earth. Being grounded and stable.
